"Life's too short to build something nobody wants."
Ash Maurya has been an entrepreneur for more than a decade, and has been in search of a better, faster way for building successful products.
Greatly inspired by the works on Customer Development and Lean Startup pioneered by Steve Blank and Eric Ries, he became very well-known in the lean startup community over the last few years. He continually and rigorously applies and tests the lean startup principles with his projects.
He’s got a great blog where he presents his continuous learning and ideas. He also published a book called Running Lean and a series of products aimed at helping entrepreneurs raise their odds of success. More recently, Ash Maurya was working on another book, titled “The Customer Factory”, that primarily addresses how startups can build effective experiments that lead to breakthrough insights. The book will explain how to build an effective way to go further than the vision with an efficient experiment-based development strategy.
He is the creator of the Lean Canvas, the founder of Sparks 59 in Austin Texas and a passionate international speaker. Previously, he bootstrapped WiredReach in 2002 which he sold in 2010.
